Construction, Design, and Operations Partner

This is a long-term candidate search that we’re planning to fill by 2025.

We are seeking a highly-motivated and talented individual interested in making a career in the solar industry. The candidate will be working side-by-side with our owner Michael, a solar professional with 17 years of solar experience, and learn to lead and install residential solar construction projects, service past installations, design systems, and coordinate project operations.

Construction, design, nor solar experience are required, but candidates must have a college degree, a desire to work with their body and hands, have strong math skills, be detail-oriented, have solid written and verbal communication, and desire increasing amounts of responsibility over time. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

We are a seasonal business and the bulk of our construction work happens March through October. The winter off-season consists of sales, design, and considerable paid time off. Compensation is salary and will include some level of profit-sharing.

Ideal candidates would be rooted in Madison or surrounding Dane County and looking to make a commitment of 5+ years to the position, with significant opportunity for increased leadership, responsibility, and ownership over the longterm.

To apply: please respond by email (mdrews@drewssolar.com) with your resume, a description of yourself and how you feel you’re a good fit for this position, and a list of times you would be available to meet in person.
